11m Jamboree-on-the-Air
Jamboree-on-the-Air (JOTA) and Jamboree-on-the-Internet (JOTI) takes place once a year in the third weekend of October. This is a event where Scouts from all over the world try to meet / contact each other by Radio and / or
by Internet.
Jamboree-on-the-Air is done by a licensed Radio Amateur (Ham) with his equipment and one or more scouts.
But there are Scouts that are experienced 11 meter (CB) operators that also take part at the event for years

Jota can be held at a scout camp, at the scout HQ or at the radio operators radio shack.
